Who Killed KDE via QtCompany (Mystery Solved!!)

Hi,

I really thought I should share. The recent topic is Qt Company will shut down KDE and KDE devs are calling for Qt fork.

I was wandering who really hates KDE and who has stake in all of this. Initially, I thought it was Microsoft (as usual)

I found this on phoronix:

A guy who has GNOME in its nickname (GNOME_Shill_3) posted here on phoronix the following:

"Exactly. KDE does not deserve to live unless it conforms to GNOME's vision. KWin should die. In fact, KDE should just be a GNOME extension. I mean, it might break on every GNOME release, but that's their problem."

Are you from Mutter/GNOME? Was it you who reached out Qt Company to kill KDE? Do you envy that KDE has Kwin and everyghing works on OpenGL incl. VSync to Blank and GNOME is stuttering and missing CPU cycles and is horrible rendering nightmare? I thought it was Microsoft. Now I know who really envied KDE and Killed it. Unskilled GNOME devs. Eff you, GNOME! "

My thought is this: It still may be Microsoft posing as a GNOME dev, in order to stir and divide community. S it still might be MS reaching Qt Company to kill its competitor. "Funny" this guy mentioned KWin (I know MS hates KWin because it just works and glues whole system together under OpenGL 3.1 (including VSync to Blank) and doesn't miss frames to KDE is fast to render (unklike Mutter and GNOME which are not the competitor to MS). Some time ago when ALT+TAB "cover art" window switcher appeared in MS Windows. Immediately MS was accused to rip off KDE. KDE reached out and confirmed they, let me quote "allowed MS to use their code, because MS asked for it". I remember this!. Talk about being evil (...vide MS past and present).
