hulu

Asking what you use to view streaming video such as hulu (hulu in particular)?   What browser, what else is required, sound (pulse/no pulse)?  I do not run pulse.

Currently using Google Chrome from AUR.  It works fine, but requires the periodic manual AUR upgrade to maintain.

Upgraded partners PC today, hulu didnt work; big trouble for me!  OK after upgrade Chrome from AUR; but seeking a simpler, less interactive solution.

Apart from chrom{e,ium}, I've tested firefox with netflix (after enabling DRM in preferences) and it works. It should work for hulu too, I guess.

After upgrading Chromium to latest version 83, Hulu now works.

It appears the widevine package was required in Chromium, but now support has been added to  Chromium itself-

It is called DRM and the purpose is to restrict your freedom.
