[SOLVED] HELP: exo-helper-2 is missing after installing updates

Everytime I try to open a folder on my desktop it pops up with

Any help?

did you happen to update xfce (released 4.16) and then you continued with the old session ?? without logging off and login on or restarting the computer?
if yes, don't be surprised ;)
if not, try reinstalling exo or restarting your computer.

yup. i am very dumb
