Re: Peerguardian Reply #1 – 07 April 2021, 15:48:25 https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE_package_guidelines#Force_Qt4 <-- set properly your qt version"peerguardian" package does not exist in AUR. But maybe you men pgl package -> https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PeerGuardian_Linuxbut is much better use this newest version, which was convert to qt5 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pgl-git/
Re: Peerguardian Reply #2 – 07 April 2021, 17:47:05 In AUR there arehttps://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pgl/as well as https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pgl-git/Tried both.Errors that I pasted are from each one.
Re: Peerguardian Reply #3 – 07 April 2021, 20:46:23 did you read the comments? second comment contains link for fixed version ( PKGBUILD)
Re: Peerguardian Reply #4 – 07 April 2021, 22:20:19 This is the patchhttps://github.com/eserlxl/pgl-git-AUR-Patches Can you provide any detailed instruction, it's very hard for me to patch ?I red thishttps://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Patching_packagesIt's very hard to understand.
Re: Peerguardian Reply #5 – 07 April 2021, 22:36:50 but you need nothing patching, you should just use this PKGBUILD https://github.com/eserlxl/pgl-git-AUR-Patches/blob/main/PKGBUILD-fixededit2: whoever wrote the PKGBUILD, he really can not write PKGBUILD as well as he can not assemble patch working PKGBUILD and patch:https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alium/share/master/pgl/PKGBUILDhttps://raw.githubusercontent.com/alium/share/master/pgl/pgld-gcc10fix.patch Last Edit: 07 April 2021, 23:14:37 by alium

Re: Peerguardian Reply #8 – 11 April 2021, 20:00:57 I normally do not do this - so consider this a rare exception - but I have added the pgl-git package to the Ominverse repo, which can be added as per https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/UnofficialUserRepositoriesI have not tested it, so use it at your own risk.

I have trouble installing PGL from Aur. If you are not interested in re-upload of Peerguardian in your repo, can you upload it somewhere else, so I can keep that file ?
Re: Peerguardian Reply #13 – 05 February 2022, 13:52:47 @RIA77, we already answered to you regarding Peerguardian here: https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,3609.0.htmlThat software is unmaintained for a long time and won't be added until it is maintained. Ask the original author if he would like to maintain it. If he refuses or doesn't answer, we unfortunately can't help you.
