[SOLVED] Problem with installing PipeWire (cannot resolve a dependency)

Hello Artix Linux Forums!

I've just installed Artix Linux OpenRC and tried to install Pipewire, and get this message.

warning: cannot resolve "libsystemd.so=0-64", a dependency of "pipewire"

This is a brand new install, so I'm not sure anything that could be causing this. Maybe I missed a step in my installation? If anyone knows what to do, let me know! (I get the same error when trying to install pipewire-pulse and other types of pipewire packages)

I have already synced my mirror list by doing doas pacman -Syu maybe I'm running outdated mirrors? Anyway, anything helps!

Thanks for replying! I already have Arch Linux support downloaded and enabled. I've reinstalled it a couple of times too, so I'm not sure if that's the problem

Pipewire certainly does not depend on systemd. Be certain you are installing it from Artix's repos.

you added archlinux repos in pacman.conf ahead  of artixlinux repos 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️good way how to break your system. please read the wiki, it's not so hard.. . first artix repos, then archlinux repos.
