[SOLVED] can't install plasma kde // appstream and appstream-qt in conflict

HI!  :D

I was trying to install plasma-desktop and ran into this error:
Code: [Select]
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
/usr/lib/appstreamcli-compose exists in both 'appstream' and 'appstream-qt'

All I know is there is apparently a bug upstream - reddit thread

Does anyone know when this will be fixed?
