alsa broken on the last update

I've been running alsa without an issue for years now and the latest update has broken it

Code: [Select]
flatbush:[root]:~# rc-service alsasound restart
alsasound         | * Storing ALSA Mixer Levels ...                                                   [ ok ]
alsasound         | * Restoring Mixer Levels ...
alsasound         |alsa-lib parser.c:242:(error_node) UCM is not supported for this HDA model (HDA Intel PCH at 0xd1040000 irq 127)
alsasound         |alsa-lib main.c:1405:(snd_use_case_mgr_open) error: failed to import hw:0 use case configuration -6

Code: [Select]
flatbush:[ruben]:~$ alsamixer
ALSA lib confmisc.c:855:(parse_card) cannot find card '0'

works in root fwiw

flatbush:[root]:~# mpv /home/ruben/music/Dancing\ In\ The\ Moonlight.mp3
 (+) Audio --aid=1 (mp3 2ch 44100Hz)
File tags:
 Artist: Toploader
 Album: Onka's Big Moka
 Date: 2000
 Genre: Rock
 Title: Dancing In The Moonlight
 Track: 2
AO: [alsa] 48000Hz stereo 2ch float

This fixed it but that is not a solution

Code: [Select]
flatbush:[root]:~# chmod 777  /dev/snd/*
flatbush:[root]:~# ls -al /dev/snd/

Are you in the 'audio' group? You didn't show the permissions before changing them, but here is what I have:

It's still working for me although perhaps you are using gremlins.

I just added myself to the group.  Mind you, it was working since the beginning of Artix until that upgrade.
