Gparted segmentation faults

Hey everybody! Not sure why this is happening, but gparted segmentation faults:

Code: [Select]
GParted 1.4.0
configuration --enable-libparted-dmraid --enable-online-resize
libparted 3.5
/usr/bin/gparted: line 222:  4380 Segmentation fault      $BASE_CMD
and on the second time it spit out a different error
Code: [Select]
GParted 1.4.0
configuration --enable-libparted-dmraid --enable-online-resize
libparted 3.5
/usr/bin/gparted: line 222:  4543 Segmentation fault      $BASE_CMD

I built gparted-git from the AUR and its not segmentation faulting. I would like to fix this though, let me know what else I can do.

gparted is available in the world repository:
Code: [Select]
pacman -Ss gparted
world/gparted 1.4.0-1 [installé]

You mean the world version does not work for you?

Can you give the result of:
Code: [Select]
cat /etc/pacman.conf

Oh actually you found the issue. It's the latest glibmm having an API break in it. There's an open issue about it on gitlab. I've followed Arch and pushed a 2.66.3-2 version of it which has the bad commit reverted. With glibmm and gparted from the repos, it should be normal again.

Edit: The package is now on 2.66.3-3.

gpart is also needed so that one can error check drives in gparted.
