Looking at the 6400 low profile graphics cards 01 June 2022, 15:19:54 these are interesing as they are a single width gpu and low profile bracket is included and they are about 10$ more than i paid for my rx 570 that i used to own when it was new. Yes i understand it's pcie4 not pcie3 but even so given the shortages that are still ongoing and that an i7 7700 g3 sff from hp is 200$ (what i paid for mine on ebay) and i have just a smidge enough room to put in this rdna 2 card, i find it a compelling option. it vastly outperforms the rx 550 and is about 10% slower in some things compared to a rx 570 i used to own (though that came with two free games - never played those games much btw). The rx 570 took up two slots though. One card claims to use 4 pcie lanes while the other are 16 lanes? can that be right? Last Edit: 01 June 2022, 16:47:15 by cat herders of linux

Re: Looking at the 6400 low profile graphics cards Reply #2 – 01 June 2022, 21:33:14 That makes sense.I wonder how well this will perform on pcie 3 mb. I know it's meant for pcie 4 mb. I'll need to scour the web a bit more i think unless anyone has personal experience.
