Freeze on boot

Hi mates!
After update kernel to 6.4.6 version and nvidia drivers, my box can't boot and freeze on boot nvidia-uvm module. How to solve it?

downgrade kernel/nvidia to previous working versions
try linux-lts or linux-zen

This 6.x kernel series is a total failure. People with older hardware (like myself) are happy with 5.x-lts.

nvidia drivers also do behave weirdly sometimes :p
i just had the same thing, boot sequence stuck while loading the nvidia driver.
if you're using an intel cpu with the i915 chip, maybe this will help:

Thanks mates!
Set i915.modeset=0 in /etc/default/grub and change kernel to LTS version. Works fine!
