after a period of time on gnome, gtk apps stop opening until relog

this has occured on at least four machines i've used artrix + gnome on, i'm not sure if it's an upstream issue affecting other distros, but i haven't been able to find anyone else talking about this.

almost every time i come back to my pc or open my laptop after a few hours or leaving it suspended overnight, only and all gtk or libadwaita apps fail to open normally unless ran as a command. another symptom i've noticed is that when this happens, web links fail to open in firefox if it is already running, giving me an error message after a moment. logging out and back in fixes the issue. i'd guess some sort of background process crashes causing this.
whatchu know about rollin model release

I don't know gnome anymore since they upgraded to version 3.

However, I first ask myself this question: are your RAM and your swap partition well sized?

Do you have any error messages?
Code: [Select]
sudo dmesg
