[SOLVED] File system check fails at boot

Alright, after having to turn my machine off by holding in the button after a crash, I might have borked my filesystem, this shows up at boot.

I've made a Gparted Live stick, and it boots and finds the partitions. I've heard you can repair the system from there, but I'm just unsure if I might cause some kind of data loss. Should I go forward with that, or should I do something else?

EDIT: In case I have borked the drive, I should mention that I already have another new drive that I was planning to copy over my stuff to soon anyway, but I have some stuff I need to do right now so if I can repair the partition that's preferable for now. The partition that is giving me problems is my home partition. Is there any command in ddrescue or whatever that would make it easy to just copy all the files that can be salvaged over to my new drive without having to retain any filesystem or whatever? Most of the instructions that talk about ddrescue that I can find are mostly about copying the entire file system which is not that convenient right now.

EDIT2: I managed to solve it on my own using the instructions here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/193778
