Message: File Too Short

Hi, I got this message, never happen before, with 2 files/lib:
1) qt6-wayland, used by mkvtoolnix-gui and client
2) shaderc, used by mpv
These are the 2 situation that I discover, till now, and I hope not to have others.

This is an example of the message:
Quote
mpv: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libshaderc_shared.so.1: file too short

I solved it reinstalling with the --overwrite parameter, all the other don't permit to reinstall the libs, an example:
Quote
sudo pacman -S --overwrite='/*' shaderc

For me the problem is solved, but I haven't understand why; its like if the files were corrupted: strange. If you have any idea how it can happen, I'll be happy to understand. Its the first time, since the 0.8 Slackware Linux version, distributed with the 3.5" inch floppy disk that I see a similar error. :-)
