Cannot open Plasma nor Xfce when booting on 01/01 isos

Hello Community,
Booting from my Ventoy usb stick, I can open Plasma or Xfce when starting up in each 14/08/23 iso. The only condition is that I should choose the "grub2" option in Ventoy. I get 800x600 resolution instead of 1920x1080, but it works.
But with more recent versions of isos up to the 01/01/24 ones, I am stuck in the command line. If I run "startx", I get errors but not Plasma nor Xfce.
Artix is already set up and my current working kernel is 6.1.28. For some reason, more recent versions do not work (lightdm logging screen doesn't appear).
Is there any parameter I should set and how to get desktop environments in live sessions ?
Thanks

Hello,
Have you tried with sddm ?
Code: [Select]
pacman -Si sddm
Dépôt                    : world
Nom                      : sddm
Version                  : 0.20.0-2
Description              : QML based X11 and Wayland display manager
Architecture             : x86_64
URL                      : https://github.com/sddm/sddm

If you use openrc:
Code: [Select]
sudo  pacman -S sddm-openrc
Code: [Select]
sudo rc-update add sddm default
Reboot your system.

Remove lightdm

Ventoy worked flawlessly with the Cinnamon live iso on Ventoy, installed to hd about a week ago, did not check date of  iso. Installed system also works very well. But have noticed some hiccups before.
