opera has it uses as a browser but now herecura droped it

i dont know if thee is another source for it that i dont have to compile it myself.  anyone has another means to install it?

but seeing as i have version 106 something and they on 110 something in the aur i guess i better stop using it sooner than later.    It's been since the end of january already.

You don't have to compile the AUR version, it's a binary package, the only installation overhead is compressing it into a package then decompressing the result.

Wow!  i wish i had read this before i scoured the internets for how to do flatpaks and flahubs!

maybe the aur version has a dark theme that works since the flatpak one doesnt!

The AUR downloads the original .deb from Opera and convert it to pacman.

Dark-Mode is manual:
i see no way to tell from that image how you accessed that setting.  i also dont peak german or read it at all.  i had only 2 weeks of training in german when i was a soldier stationed in furth at the 98the gen hospital in the late 80's and early 90's.  i'm a stupid american sadly.

In the picture Caramon2 posted, there is a menu bar icon thing looking like some horizontal bars arranged one above the other in a square pattern. Left click on that and it should bring up Simple Settings (Einfache einrichtung) and click the radio button saying Dark (Dunkel).
