How does package mirroring from Arch work?

I recently made a PR, which wasn't merged, but in the end caused some changes in Arch packages: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/sdl2_mixer/-/merge_requests/1
An AUR package got lifted into Extra, sdl2_mixer started depending on it and the build process changed.

Do I now need to make a PR here, or will this get into Artix, on it's own?

We follow Arch, no PR necessary. We pull their PKGBUILDs and apply our patches, if any. I pushed sdl2_mixer-2.8.1-2 to world.
