[SOLVED] Nvidia card not turning on

I hope this is the correct section for this post.

I have a laptop with an Nvidia dGPU and a Ryzen 7 CPU.

I installed the Nvidia drivers using this guide: https://github.com/korvahannu/arch-nvidia-drivers-installation-guide.

When I use nvidia-smi, I see that the dGPU is detected, but listed as "off", no matter what I do. I tried prime-run but even prime-run to launch steam still only uses the iGPU.

I tried envycontrol to force switch it but envycontrol threw out some issue about not having systemctl, or something.

Any pointers would be welcome!

Thank you

I was just looking at that, too! Will definitely give that a try shortly, thank you
