As a dark theme guy, I've switched all my KDE theming to light recently and wow, maybe my eyes have changed over the years, it's so much easier to read.

Not a fix but a suggestion: is it possible to have a different color scheme for the dark and light variants of the font color feature?
Because some are hard to see. Depending on which variant you choose, one is difficult to read than the other:

There's a remote chance I can do something but make no promises.

I wasn't sure what to do about "white" and "black". I'm not sure what the intent is of offering these options. I went with making "black" a high-contrast color for each theme and "white" a low contrast, subtle color. But truthfully nobody should use either in my opinion.

I'm referring to the dropdown menu font color selection.
Something like this:

Where less colors selected, but has the color block on the left and font preview on the right for both light and dark theme variants.

Or just an individual preview like the previous one but still includes the color block and font preview. The available palette dropdown would depend on which variant is used.
Like if one has chosen the dark theme this would pop-up:

And for light:

Note: Ignore color palette (not use this for the change) as this is based a different background lightness (based on the selenized theme).

I agree, that would be nice, but it's a bit out of scope I think. Plus the color previews only apply to this one theme and I maintain that there's rarely ever a reason to select a different font color in the first place. I updated the colors in the dropdown at least:

Figured as much. That it will take some drastic changes if the font preview feature were to be implemented.
What you did is a good compromise. Thank you.
