Looking for two Linux laptops for my grandchildren

I am looking through ebay for two laptops to installl artix on.  I prefer them to be preinstalled with Linux.  I picked up two asus on ebay last time I did this and they had bad CMOS or dead batteries.  When they were unplugged for a period of time the clock reset to 1969 and it wouldn't boot without the clock being fixed. 

They use them to play crossfire and read email mostly.

If someone wants to sell them to me, I am ears, or if they have a lead.

I have purchased several old Thinkpads for around the same cost. All are still working and have been a good investment.
Not sure how you feel about them so YMMV

The Dell there seems decent and it seem to handle Cinnamon (that happens to be my preferred DE - if I were to run one of course).
Now, if you can only get them to use a WM that will certainly go a long way with the 4GB ram.

From ebay. Like with most things ebay, you really need to drill down through all the noise and trust that you find something that is half decent.
