[SOLVED] Following install guide left me without connection

I successfully installed artix linux (runit) on my system yesterday, though I wanted to share my experience trying to install without an ethernet connection.

Under the network configuration section it suggested to install connman:

Quote
Runit
Install connman and optionally a front-end:

 pacman -S connman-runit connman-gtk (or cmst for Qt-based DEs)
 ln -s /etc/runit/sv/connmand /etc/runit/runsvdir/default

I did so and  booted into my system, I tried connecting to wifi with connmanctl, and wasn't able to. I went to the arch wiki and found this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ConnMan#Installation (it suggests to install wpa_supplicant to use wifi) and so I installed wpa_supplicant, after that everything was smooth sailing.

I was wondering if I could add a comment into the install guide about this in case people are trying to install without an ethernet connection.

It is already described at https://wiki.artixlinux.org/runit/NetworkConfiguration

I guess I should make it clearer. The network configuration part is just meant to be an example.

Ok, thanks everyone! I suppose I was more or less taking it as concrete steps to get the install working rather than an example.
