Re: Black screen with Linux-zen 5.9.4 Reply #1 – 06 November 2020, 18:42:09 I've found laptops beeing particularly picky with the kernels; they tend to like some versions more than others to the point of not booting on what they dislike. So, once I find a kernel that works reasonably well, I tend to stick to it for as long as the hibernate/resume cycles succeed. Last one was 4.20.14-ck which held for over 150 days (several hundred cycles) before a cheap USB3 hub I had plugged in made it croak on resume and discarded the hibernation image.
