Desktop unresponsive

My install has been great but today on issuing startx my desktop takes ages to load and then is unresponsive with no mouse. System is running lxqt and fully up to date with the exception of --ignore libcurl-compact and the same for latest Firefox which also caused problems.

Any ideas where to start to diagnose?

Thanks

Mouse had woken up, but is the Unix X most of the time. No menu bars, no right click menu and cannon address openbox settings. Openbox issue?

Tryed openbox --reconfigure and hot an error about libicuuc.so.60

That happened because you're still using an older version of icu and the openbox needs a newer version. And it's possible other symtoms that you are having right now such as 'unresponsive desktop' are caused by outdated icu as well

Please FULLY update your system

If you did so and still having the issue, you're most likely to have :

* Outdated mirrorlist
* Outdated pacman.conf

Please compare both mirrorlist[1] and pacman.conf[2] against upstream[3][4]
