Ungoogled-chromium does not launch

Hello everybody.  I was trying to launch Ungoogled-chromium but I am getting this issue:

Code: [Select]
$chromium
/usr/lib/chromium/chromium: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/chromium/chromium: undefined symbol: hb_subset_input_set_retain_gids

I searched in the web and I found this Archlinux forum:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=269739

I guess this is something upstream should fix first but I also think it's not a bad idea to keep report it here too. Seems it's a harfbuzz 3.0.0 issue.

Best regards.

It might be needed to specify -Udd to force the downgrade. With doas:

Code: [Select]
$ doas pacman -Udd https://archive.artixlinux.org/packages/h/harfbuzz/harfbuzz-2.9.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

A new ungoogled-chromium build is currently running, which includes a patch that should fix the issue.
If it completes OK, I will push it to the Universe repo tomorrow morning (CET)

I have exactly the same problem and tried to update the package. Unfortunately, the latest version is not offered to me.
Code: [Select]
T450S:[roberto]:~$ pacman -Ss ungoogled-chromium
universe/ungoogled-chromium 92.0.4515.159-1 [Installiert]

Here is my entry in the pacman. conf regarding the Universe repo.
Code: [Select]
[universe]
Server = https://mirror1.artixlinux.org/universe/$arch
Server = https://universe.artixlinux.org/$arch
Server = https://mirror.pascalpuffke.de/artix-universe/$arch
Is there something wrong?

 I can start Ungoogled chromium, but allways with "chmod 1777 /dev/shm"
 What is the problem ?
