[SOLVED] Counter Strike Source quits desktop enviroment

Hello people. I'm having a strange problem. I have downloaded CSS from steam. I did the whole process of activating the 32-bit repositories and everything in between, but now when I try opening the game, it just makes the sound from when you open valve's games and kinda 'blinks' the screen at a terminal and go to the screen to log on my account. Just for curiosity, I opened htop, and the game its still running, but I can't see it anywhere.
I'm now running artix with kde.
Thanks in advance.

Could be a lot of things, what's in your ~/.xsession-errors? Also, dmesg may show segfaults or something.

I didn't find this file anywhere in my computer. Even using kfind
Update: I just tried finding the xsession file. Trying dmesg.

So, I'm still kinda of a noob at linux and the dmesg mensage is kinda cryptic for me and I don't know what to sent to you.
And I don't know if I clarified to you but, the game is running in the background in the only account there is, but I can't see it anywhere and yes the computer audio stops working for some reason, forcing me to reboot.

Well, thanks for the artix developer for helping me asking things like a human.
But, I really don't know what to say anymore about it, dmesg and other commands don't say anything useful, because when it crashes and prompts me to logon again, it acts like I just booted my system, stragely the game still is running in the background.
Update: I installed another source engine game and it worked (I thought at first that the problem was in the game engine). And I remembered that you can add launch options though steam, and I discovered that the game actually runs in windowed mode, but when I try fullscreen the same stuff happens again. So, I guess I could say thats half fixed, because I would like running the game in fullscreen mode.

dmesg and other commands don't say anything useful,
That is for those answering you to decide, since you are asking others for help. The only way anyone can help you is by looking at log messages to diagnose the cause of the issue and try to work towards the solution. Anything else is guesswork and a waste of time for everyone involved. Read the post I linked carefully.

It does help if people know some basic info like hw & os details when dealing with hw / sw specific issues - because you can guess if the game worked like that for everybody then someone else would have noticed already (unless it's really unpopular  :D.)
Looking at your past posts just to check if you have already given this info, no, but you did say "i'm using artix xfce" so as a wild guess try another desktop environment for an easy workaround as xfce has definitely got some graphics bugs on some hw in recent versions.

But also don't forget that if you provide this requested info then it also allows developers to recreate and properly fix the problem in due course so you will be contributing to Linux development, taking the time to reply fully will not only help you but others facing the same issue.

Yeah, I probally should do that next time. I ended up reinstalling kde and now it works, but I don't know the reason it failed. That half a victory at least. Thanks for your pacience.
