That theme is not installed by default in Artix LXDE graphical ISOs. You should read up on themes in Artix, I mentioned this wiki article recently in another thread.

By the way, what seems "broken" to you in this screenshot? This theme preview looks normal.

Edit: Also worth mentioning is that openbox doesn't seem to be supported yet for that particular theme, as the author "doesn't use openbox" himself. LXDE uses openbox as a WM.

The solution is:

Code: [Select]
sudo rm /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
"Wer alles kann, macht nichts richtig"

Artix USE="runit openrc slim openbox lxde gtk2 qt4 qt5 qt6 conky
-gtk3 -gtk4 -adwaita{cursors,themes,icons} -gnome3 -kde -plasma -wayland "

part of another theme is being mixed with the nord theme, it is supposed to look like this:

Nordic theme is gtk3 and won't theme gtk2 apps. Also, our LXDE ISO is built with lxde-gtk2 so, if you intend to go full gtk3, you should replace the lxde group packages with those of lxde-gtk3.

Yeah, I checked it yesterday and my eye saw this (and, no, I didn't read the fine print):

"Understanding is a three-edged sword. Your side, my side, and the truth."
I hope no sane person expects us to install every single theme under the sun to test compliance with all 6 different DEs we officially offer. It's already hard enough to make one theme working. And there's some thing called real life and family.
But, we're neither arrogant nor spoiled brats: the potential workaround /usr/share/gtk-2.0/gtkrc is now part of the aforementioned wiki paragraph on theme issues.

Can't wait for Qt6 and Gtk4 to land...

I always read small print first.  ;)

I'm the last person in the world who would ask you to do that.
That's a user concern, so I can't really understand your "overpresence" in that regard.

If you have read the following wiki articles:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Uniform_look_for_Qt_and_GTK_applications
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Qt#Configuration_of_Qt5_apps_under_environments_other_than_KDE_Plasma
you can also understand why some less experienced users are frustrated.

Because, contrary to what the second wiki article suggests, qt5ct/galaxy is indeed a Qt5 utility for configuring fonts, symbols and styles.

BTW, where's that Grau theme from? At first I thought it was artix-dark, it's awesome.
The theme is an unfinished mixture of vertex-dark and e17gtk.
If I ever finish it, I will share it.

Artix USE="runit openrc slim openbox lxde gtk2 qt4 qt5 qt6 conky

It's an obsessive-compulsive aspect of perfectionism, I find it extremely annoying to have an installed application in our ISOs that doesn't conform to the set theme and that was the reason the gtk2 engine was selected as the baseline over qt5ct: while qt5ct could enforce the colour palette, it couldn't set the same font size across gtk and qt.

The theme is an unfinished mixture of vertex-dark and e17gtk.
That explains it, artix-dark is a tweaked vertex-dark.
