Can not connect iPhone to my computer

Hello,
I want to connect my iPhone to my artix linux computer through usb cable. I installed libimobile device, usbmuxd and ifuse. Firstly it did not work at all, after I uninstalled ConnMan and started using NetworkManager instead it worked few times. But now I am not able to connect my phone at all.

Output of idevicepair pair command:

No device found.

Output of lsusb command:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0bdb:1911 Ericsson Business Mobile Networks BV F5521gw
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 05ac:12a8 Apple, Inc. iPhone 5/5C/5S/6/SE

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Output of sudo dmesg | grep iPhone command:

[  106.853402] usb 2-1.2: Product: iPhone

Output of sudo dmesg | grep Apple command:

[  106.853407] usb 2-1.2: Manufacturer: Apple Inc.
[  293.225047] usb 2-1.2: Manufacturer: Apple Inc.

I do not know what to do with it, so if there is someone that could help me I would be grateful.

Is USB debugging enabled on your phone?  Seems to be required for android..

On iPhone you can not find any usb settings, so there is no such thing as usb debbuging. The iPhone only shows some window where it asks you if you want to trust the pc or not but on my phone this window only blinks for few seconds so I can not trust the pc.

That would seem to be the source of your troubles if you can not trust your PC on your phone...

I know but, it can not trust the pc because the libimobiledevice program can not find my iPhone, but I do not know how to fix it.

Edit: I just found out that I have some problem with usbmuxd and I have to start it manually in terminal.

Did you manage to connect to your iPhone?

Did a search in the forum but it is not clearly answered so I'll put solution here:
how to: artix linux with iPhone or iOS device, trust the pc/computer and copy photos, videos or documents

ref:
 https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/IOS

needed packages:
sudo pacman -S libimobiledevice usbmuxd gvfs-gphoto2
a reboot might needed for the file manager to pick up iPhone .

the thing is since artix does not use systemd, so usbmuxd daemon service might not running.
here provide a way to run it under runit system: https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,2297.msg15372.html#msg15372
on my dinit system, it would be different, before looking into how to have it running as a dinit service, I ran it forground when needed, in terminal do:
sudo usbmuxd -v -f

before running this, iphone connected to the pc wont promot to trust the pc, sometimes not evening charging. But can be found in dmesg and lsusb.

Then open another terminal and run

$ idevicepair pair

iphone should now ask to trust the pc when you unlock it

after you click trust, it should say

SUCCESS: Paired with device d8e8fca2dc0f896fd7cb4cb0031ba249

$ idevicepair validate

it should say
SUCCESS: Validated pairing with device 00008030-001D3562367A402E

Then go open your file manager, if the file manager support GVFS, like caja in MATE, then iPhone should appear at the side panel for you to click and mount. If iphone has not appeared, a reboot of your pc after isntalling  gvfs-gphoto2/pairing might needed.

Bonus:
after you've copied your photos, if you need to resize or convert the format, check XnConvert

To connect your iPhone, make sure you have these programs: libimobiledevice, usbmuxd, and gvfs-gphoto2. Since Artix doesn’t use systemd, you might need to start usbmuxd yourself. Just type sudo usbmuxd -v -f in the terminal before you connect your iPhone. Then, run idevicepair pair to pair your device.

You should also remember to install package gvfs-afc (Virtual filesystem implementation for GIO - AFC backend (Apple mobile devices))....
