alsa stopped working after installing then uninstalling Terminology

im using the OpenRC version of Artix with LXDE

i installed the terminology terminal and then i noticed sound stopped working, so i removed it

i ran
Code: [Select]
rc-service alsasound status
and it told me alsa was stopped, so i tried starting it and got this output:
Code: [Select]
alsasound         | * Restoring Mixer Levels ...
alsasound         | * No mixer config in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state, you have to unmute your card!

here is the output of
Code: [Select]
rc-update -v show

If you've rebooted and it's still doing this you might be able to unmute it in alsamixer, type alsamixer in a terminal to start it, that's an easy thing to try for a start.
