LIVE USB : Artix linux only boot in tty1 (No GUI)

I've tried Artix Linux OpenRC (KDE) on live usb using ventoy.. But it only boot in TTY1. There's no GUI or even login screen. Only TTY1

Also, i tried to run in VirtualBox and it worked. No similar problem in live usb.. I've tried several version of ISO too (dinit, runit, s6) and several DE (cinnamon, xfce, lxqt), but it seems still have the same problem.

It's worth a try.
If it works, you will need to update the system as soon as it is installed and restart it BEFORE you want to install additional applications.

I have an artix-xfce-openrc-20220613-x86_64.iso.
I put it on my Google Drive.

I have the same issue with the stable ISOs (20230501) with both Plasma and Cinnamon. Switching to tty7 and manually starting LightDM worked.

This happened with two laptops (one without a dedicated graphics card, and a T480 with an Nvidia card). However, another laptop (Thinkpad T420, no graphics card)  and my desktop with a 2015 Nvidia card both booted up fine.

I'm not sure I see a pattern here.

Those ISOs run on sddm, is that a typo?

I'm also getting this with some setups, I must assume it's an Xorg problem in autodetection/fallback. All drivers are there, it should be able to start even if it had to fallback to VESA.
In some cases, disabling modesetting (nomodeset kernel command line) helps.

No it wasn't a typo haha, I started LightDM which got me into the DE.

I've tried that too, but no cigar.

Just for the record I'm personally quite comfortable working on the commandline, but I like having a couple of ISOs with working desktop environments for shilling demonstration and installation purposes.

The reason I asked about sddm is Plasma ISO uses it (cinnamon uses lightdm). I'm hoping the Xorg autodetection will be fixed soon from upstream.
