Complaint: Opening an artixlinux-forum web page takes one hundred years to wait.

Every time it takes a lot of time to open an artix-forum web page, it is really annoying.

So, every time, opening an artixlinux-forum web page, I clear browsing data, this will save time.

Only artixlinux-forum web page takes more time in the artixlinux.org website.

It opens in less than 1 second for me from multiple boxes and locations, including a "smart" phone. What browser/plugins do you use? Are you behind TOR or VPN?

sometimes it's the same for me, but only the first page. the pages i see after are loaded immediately.
i highly suspect cloudflare to do some checks before letting someone in.

No VPN, No TOR, directly connect to the internet.

In the artixlinux.org website, I have tested many web pages,  any other web pages can be opened quickly.
Only in the artixlinux-forum, open every web page, takes more than two or three minutes.
Sign in or not, is the same.
I have tried artixlinux-firefox, and other linux OS, firefox, Chromium(not installed any plugins) ,
the same thing always happened: opening every artixlinux-forum web page takes more than two or three minutes.
My solution is opening an artixlinux-forum web page, immediately clear browsing data,then the web page can be opened quickly.
I was wondering why a linux-forum takes so many time to open a web page?

I just do not like systemd, so I do not choose archlinux.

If you start the browsers from the command line by typing their names, you might get some error messages, especially note any that appear when you try and open the problem page. You could also try and get some error messages from the built in browser console - on Firefox press CTRL SHIFT i then click the "Console" tab in the window that appears at the bottom of the screen. You might need to make that window section taller to see more. There are often "errors" that appear during normal operation, though. Possibly this would give some extra clues. Is it just your Artix install that does this, have you tried viewing the forum with anything else that works normally?

Please forgive me, I give up the problem.
I will use my solution: open an artixlinux-forum page, then clear browsing data, this will save time.

I have tested two host pc: artixlinux/firefox， Debian_no_systemd_linux/chromium（Yes, there are some errors)，
I do not install any plugins in any web-browsers.

If you have the same problem using Artix and Debian that makes it less likely to be a setup problem from your Artix installation, although whether something that is true for both like using Chinese as the main language (from your other recent topic) could affect things somehow, or if it could be a hardware quirk, I don't know. If you were to post the error messages perhaps someone on here might spot something, although they don't always give useful information. If there are pages of them then perhaps use a pastebin site and provide a link, possibly take a photo or screenshot if you cannot copy and paste them easily. If you are too busy then of course don't worry if you don't mind continuing as you are, or whenever you get a chance, no hurry. Although the forum might occasionally open slowly for me, it's infrequent and takes seconds not minutes, which isn't especially out of the ordinary for web pages in general.

1. I do not think Chinese language is the cause.
   All system languages are English, I only installed Chinese language input method, ibus-rime.
  
   I have tested kicksecure-xfce-linux/firefox in the virtualbox, which I did not install any software.
   I have tested in two other linux/firefox in the virtualbox.
   The same thing happened:
   only opening an artixlinux-forum web page in artixlinux.org website, it takes more than two or three minutes.
  
   I found out the problem when I first visited the artixlinux.org website in 2022 year.

Do you connect the forum from mainland China? If so, it is really not the duty of the artix team to fix the problem. The log you posted has nothing to do with network.

I thought some of those messages seemed possibly relevant:

I think the browser checks the certificate from the website with another server online. If the server you check the validity doesn't know about the certificate then it will fail, this situation can arise for various reasons. Big websites might have expensive well tested certificates that are valid everywhere while cheaper certificates aren't always so reliable or universally valid.
Artix has 3 mirrors in China if you look in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist so it can't be blocked there.

The great fire wall is not the cause.
There are nothing forbidden in the artixlinux.org website, that the China Government wants to block/ban.

1. The artixlinux.org website can be opened quickly,
only the web pages in the artlinux-forum can not be opened quickly.

2. Many other linux-forums can be opened quickly.

3. I have found my solution.
   I only hope other people will have a good experience when they visit the artixlinux-forum.

If you think SSL errors has nothing to do with GFW, good luck. GFW does not drop traffics by contents, as contents are encrypted. It drops traffics by location and to some extent in random as explained in the paper.

Mirrors in China are about repositories but not the forum.

Now(2023-8-3), the web pages in the artixlinux-forum can be opened quickly, one second or seconds, not minutes.

I have tested one host pc, Debian_no_systemd_linux/chromium,
have tested two virtualbox/guest linux, firefox/chromium both can open artixlinux-forum web pages immediately, the speed is acceptable.

It is not a miracle.
The artixlinux-forum admin must have done some work.

We did nothing, it must be a problem at your side. FWIW, both the main site and the forum are behind Cloudflare.
