If so, doesn't it break the system by doing that? Quote Selected

Re: error: failed retrieving file 'galaxy.db' ... Reply #8 – 02 September 2023, 11:24:12 o/i also had the same error yesterday, then remembered that galaxy was planned for merging into world. And it seems the galaxy repo has been finally deleted yesterday.the link tintin gave was speaking about it.So the solution is indeed to comment the lines in /etc/pacman.conf Code: [Select]#[galaxy]#Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist Quote Selected 3 Likes

Re: error: failed retrieving file 'galaxy.db' ... Reply #13 – 02 September 2023, 17:11:31 This was my bad. I was merging universe into galaxy since we have a new build pipeline setup for galaxy, but I goof'd the rsyncd.conf last night before going to bed and didn't realize it. So mirrors were picking up the other repos but not the galaxy ones. I fixed that this morning and it should eventually propagate to all mirrors once they sync again (e.g. you can see the galaxy repos on this one).Galaxy isn't going away. What will eventually go away is Universe since all packages there were moved to galaxy. This should be nicer for users and it's definitely a lot nicer for packagers.Edit: Or maybe Omniverse will become the new Universe. We'll see. This has yet to be decided.
