It is artix over manjaro :)

No, really, I kept my Manja-ROpenRC as it was and update it to see when and if it breaks.  What it is that will cause the break.  Just for kicks.

My artix which is what I use lately 96% of the time is an original artix installation.
I use the same background on both, it is easy on the eyes.  Except for different
tabs being open on the same browser on both sometimes I forget where I am.
It happened today, when I switched it on someone called me and by the time
I came back I logged on thinking I was in artix.  Cold sweat came down my back
when my recent documents weren't showing up on the list.  I wonder if I can
share a single /user /home partition and get away with it,   I tried between
debian and arch once and things fell apart in a hurry, as different editions of
software couldn't read older/newer conf files and would mess them up for
each other.  Debian, even in sid/unstable was always OOOooolder.

I see. You would likely be ok sharing  a single /home partition if your Manjaro OpenRC is on the unstable branch. I have 2 Artix installs...one from scratch, the other converted from Manjaro OpenRC. I run KDE on both and have had no problems.

Best regards.
We should try to be kind to everyone.....we are all fighting some sort of battle.

The only thing unstable about it is the name of its branch ;)

One thing I have noticed, and I am still investigating, is that although about the same exact things start up by the time openbox is up, the resources used are slightly less in Artix than ol'Manja.   The number of packages installed is much higher on Artix as I am testing all things I have used in the past and possibly might use.

Hello all,

Just hopped over from Garuda, I am really impressed with Artix so far. Minimal but does the job out of the box. OpenRC + Cinnamon just flies on my laptop!
