As I remember it - the guy (I can't remember his name, a Canadian I think?) that was running ArchBang & decided for whatever reason that he had to walk away, did so, & Mr Green stepped in & took over. From memory that would have been in ~2008 or 9.

Re. ArchBang & its uses - for me it was a quicker way to install Arch, which once installed I used to completely customise to suit myself. Much the same as I did with Artix (as I hadn't noticed I could have just done a base install... ).

@mandog, Maybe Mr Green is in the process of letting ArchBang go. I wouldn't blame him, after all of these years of doing such a fine job, I think that he's due for long service leave. If no one else steps in to fill his shoes, then so be it.

Yes it has really become a chore after all this time and his private life has often had to take a back seat,
It is pure passion on his part.
