[SOLVED] Problem with installing PipeWire (cannot resolve a dependency) 18 June 2021, 22:23:05 Hello Artix Linux Forums!I've just installed Artix Linux OpenRC and tried to install Pipewire, and get this message.warning: cannot resolve "libsystemd.so=0-64", a dependency of "pipewire"This is a brand new install, so I'm not sure anything that could be causing this. Maybe I missed a step in my installation? If anyone knows what to do, let me know! (I get the same error when trying to install pipewire-pulse and other types of pipewire packages)I have already synced my mirror list by doing doas pacman -Syu maybe I'm running outdated mirrors? Anyway, anything helps! Last Edit: 19 June 2021, 08:15:33 by alium

Re: Problem with installing PipeWire (cannot resolve a dependency) Reply #2 – 18 June 2021, 23:49:03 Thanks for replying! I already have Arch Linux support downloaded and enabled. I've reinstalled it a couple of times too, so I'm not sure if that's the problem
Re: Problem with installing PipeWire (cannot resolve a dependency) Reply #3 – 19 June 2021, 04:49:08 Pipewire certainly does not depend on systemd. Be certain you are installing it from Artix's repos.
Re: Problem with installing PipeWire (cannot resolve a dependency) Reply #4 – 19 June 2021, 06:11:12 you added archlinux repos in pacman.conf ahead of artixlinux repos 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️good way how to break your system. please read the wiki, it's not so hard.. . first artix repos, then archlinux repos.
