[SOLVED] Lightdm Doesn't work 18 April 2023, 05:15:18 So I don't remember what I did to get into this place but when I turn on my pc it stays on tty1 instead of going to tty7 after it loads everything up like normal. This I'm not sure about but I can't sign into my user account but I could also be mistyping my password. I also can't sign in my root some times. I going to retry typing my password again on both so I'll be back to report it. my pc is also encrypted. Quote Selected Last Edit: 19 April 2023, 18:15:11 by nous
Re: Lightdm Doesn't work Reply #1 – 18 April 2023, 09:51:23 did you change your DM per chance to lightdm from, say, sddm or another? Seems to be be reminiscent of the same message when i did that quite a while back. If not, might be a good idea to keep an idea on the other post by whathappened, as that's lightdm related as well. (I also use lightdm, but am free from issue btw) Quote Selected Last Edit: 18 April 2023, 10:49:08 by gavincc

I just right now reinstalled artix openrc xfce on my pc again and after install mpv neovim git wget base-devel yay docker docker-compose docker-openrc ufw ufw-openrc qbittorent and moving some folders from my home dir like .local .config. I rebooted my pc and it did the samething. Were can I find my startup log file? I think something failed so I want to look into but it goes to fast when I boot up.I going to test somethings later today. Quote Selected Last Edit: 18 April 2023, 14:42:35 by Comexs

Hopefully it's just an oversight! Quote Selected 1 Likes
