XFCE Bugs: Terminal and Desktop scaling

Bug Teminal:
Terminal dies after blank screen or screensaver.
No input possible.
This is 100% repeatable and happened during update too when screen blanked.
Quick dirty fix> Start new terminal and close it, then original terminal is
active again.

Bug Scaling:
The 'Display' menu works backwards! eg.
Scaling to 1.5x makes things smaller unlike all other OSs I've used.
So to scale up the desktop to make it readable I had to shrink it manually to 0.8x!!
And yes, I guessed the 'scale' dialog increases the pixels but
thats not what is required or expected.
On that topic a suggestion: 'Display' menu should also be in 'Desktop Settings' because
it 'sets' the desktop size and thats where I looked first.

System
Artix XFCE
Laptop Dell e6440 FHD

Short question, can you set and make work adwaita light scheme from xfce appearance? My guess is that latest iso's have some kind of bug related to everything about displaying things, I could be wrong.

Go to Settings > Appearance > Style > and choose adwaita theme..see if that theme is light or dark..if it's still dark, the bug might be present on your system too.

Interesting.

If I change to high contrast it does it,
but the light theme changes only the dialog itself.

Yep it means the bug isn't only present on my system so I think we can say adwaita theme is dead on Artix. This bug is not only about adwaita and it must be related to your issue with the terminal and who knows what other issues.

I think we may need new stable iso's

Yes I see,
looks like the linux patchwork system is doomed because 'developers' can't fix the individual components.
So what do we 'beta' testers do?
Try another distro using XFCE to try and isolate  the problems?
I tried the Plasma version but I can't cope with the disabled -multi tasking- shortcut Alt+Tab so thats no option for me.
I actually love GNOME.
I'm planning on using Artix for audio work if I get a fully functional version.
Ive never seen an OS start so fast which means, in theory it is efficient.
OTOH I have a Dell e6510 FHD laptop on which Artix ISO wont even start.
(runs all other distros I've  tried, plus windows XP to 11-24H2)
So maybe Im expecting too much from Artix?

Think we need to donate to the project so dev guys get more of their attention on Artix.

I tested it with the Artix-Xfce-Runit-Livesystem:

It's something in ~/.config: When I remove the Folder (Shift+Del) and log out and in, everything works.

Hey Camaron2
What exactly did you delete?

The whole "~/.config"-Folder.

Most of it is not necessary anyway.

Edit: I mean on a Livesystem, fresh install, or a new user.
