eso on intel 630 graphics

i'm getting really bad performance on artix, even at the absolute lowest possible settings but on windows 10 i kinda do ok on medium settings.  Not amazing tbs but sorta playable.  On artix i get these hard stutters where the screen doesnt update for a few seconds and i'm left to wonder whats going on and then the machine catches up and i'm ok again.  This doesn't happen in windows even on the slightly higher settings.  I wonder if anyone here plays that game and might have some suggestions.

The joke here is, how would I know?

What emulator are you using? what version of wine? or eggroll?

Give more info.

I use steam and whatever version of proton they are using.  I guess I could try which versions they have as options.

I ordered this:  https://www.ebay.com/itm/395701637513?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pZ415dLgS32&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=g7kgqoznq06&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

And this:   https://a.co/d/bHU4d3C

I think amd hope that will sort me out.  I hope amd open source drivers will be compatible with these gpus!!???!!!!???

Well you might if you had personal experience with this circumstance.  No worries a solution may be at hand that involves other settings 😜😸🤣🙀

do you think you might be better off with that 705?

I already own the 800 g4 so it made more sense to me to buy the Rx 560 and 150 watt power supply for the six core machine

But I did already several days ago order a 705 with the 2400ge.  It's coming from Stockton
California ..  why it's taken hom two days to pack it up and ship it off is beyond me.   It's on the way in any case.   Maybe by Wed or Thursday next week I'll see.?

So this is interesting to me anyway.  I bought the 150 watt power adapter for the 800 machine and 32 gb memory for the 705 2400 ge machine but as i am waiting for the 560 card and the 705 2400 ge machine to arrive today i put the 32 gb new mem from big store that fdelivers the next day into the 800 machine and it no longer has those hard studders of graphics like i was getting with the used memory installed but also i am using the new 150 watt power supply.  so of those two items i wonder which is the likely culprit of the hard graphic studders in linux steam proton gaming.  guess i swap back one item at a time and see which causes the issue to return.  There is always a bit of a hit to performance while riunning linux steam using proton to game vs windows that is more noticable on lower end graphics but the new power supply and the new memory has corrected the biggest issue, graphics studders that don't screen to update for a second or two.  amazing.

and so after try the used memory chips one at a time in linux steam proton gaming i find the one chip that was shipped with my machine when iu bought it is faulty and the used one i bought off ebay is likely ok.  it still has some graphical issue but might just be due to operating one 8 gb stick in single channel and it's not nearly as bad as the one i got with the machine from pcs for people.

i will def have to buy another new set of memory for the 800 machine.  the 32 gb is for the 705 as it will be using the system memory with the 2400ge apu.  the 800 machine will have the rx 560 card with it's own 4gb mem so maybe it wont be so bad while i wait until next month for another mem kit.
