Every derivative that uses a GNOME session derived from and tracking the current GNOME 3 codebase will be affected.

MATE was forked from GNOME 2, Cinnamon very early in the GNOME 3 era and has diverged quite a bit, and XFCE/LXDE/other GTK environments are not forks, they're written from scratch; they don't have much reason to backport/mimic these changes and will still work for the foreseeable future.
