XFCE black background, right click won't work

Hello!
 I really wanted to like Suite 66 and S 6, but I have the same problem with them - without any further notice, right click does not work and desktop background is black.
 Maybe it happened to me at open-rc, but I am sure for Suite 66 (right now) and S-6 (a month ago).
 LibreWolf right click works, so it's problem with desktop environment (XFCE).
 Anyone can help ?

Problem with a function of a GUI or (possibly) a faulty hardware is most certainly not a problem with the init system.

XFCE is a desktop environment, 66 (or suite66) is a collection of tools built around a process supervision suite and init system s6 and service manager s6-rc.

My hardware is working fine.
 XFCE Artix Openrc is working fine.
 Suite 66 does not.

Your problem is most likely due to:

  • Misconfiguration of XFCE and/or X.Org
  • Interaction of XFCE with some other program or a library you have installed
  • Your mouse hardware failing (I have one such mouse, so I know - it has inconsistent behavior when trying to right click, but it has it also in other init systems and even operating systems, not just suite66 under GNU/Linux)

and so on. By the looks of it, you probably used pamac (if so, this shows why it is bad to use it as opposed to using pacman) or uninstalled xfdesktop. The solution in that case is to use pacman and reinstall xfdesktop:

sudo pacman -Sy xfdesktop
while having properly configured the repositories if also using Arch repositories. Also make sure to update your system regularly (using sudo pacman -Syyu), as Artix is a rolling release distro and needs regular updating.

I suggest reading "how to ask correctly to get the right answer" and applying its advice in the future: first do a web search, then check Artix and Arch wiki, and only then post a thread in the forum with all the relevant information necessary to investigate the problem.

No, I am not using pamac.
 I don't use mouse, right click won't work on touchpad.
 I updated system regulary.
 It was not fresh system, so Arch repos were configured as it should be.
 It won't boot anymore, so switched back to Openrc.
 Currently, it works in XFCE Openrc.

Right click not working at all could be related to udev.

If that is so, then @RIA77  should supply logs, as stated in the alium's post. We can't read minds.

Relevant logs here would be (use https://paste.artixlinux.org):

/run/66/log/udevd/current

(the last one with VERBOSITY=2 in /etc/66/init.conf)

Also he should supply the output of hardware-related tools from alium's post. If this is a hardware-related udevd issue, they would also be relevant.

Can anyone help ? I have again same problem.
 Just now, XFCE and runit, no desktop background,  right click won't work on desktop background.
 Works in browser.
 Currently I can boot into system.
