They should probably compromise from their end to be able to port some full video drivers from bsd's/linux but i have no idea how different their video stack is.
There is some mesa, you can see the kernel threads for llvmpipe on the cpu.

True, at least on my modern radeon i have the full framebuffer resolution.
I don't remember right with my previous post about beta4 that i had some more gpu features with my older card, seems i was wrong.
