The request reason is also invalid, yaourtix is actively maintained.

There is no need to make big fuss about it.
There are also many *-git packages which are marked as "out of date" :D

If someone wants it they now have to come to artix to get it.
I'm still using yaourt(ix), maybe out of habit. I'm so accustomed to its informational palette of colours, I find it hard to acclimatize to trizen's, which is the closest alternative. Removing it from the AUR was idiotic, regardless of its suspended development. It Just Works™.

I even have yaourt-gui still installed, especially when searching for stuff nothing beats its functionality.

Perhaps, but it's colourless and I have to actually read the contents instead of spotting the interesting part.  :o

Plus, trizen is written in Perl, that's an instant like. :D

Having just built yay from the aur yay  package, which required the 120MB "go" package as a make depend, reading the README.md in the src I found there is a binary version in the AUR too:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/yay-bin/
And a bit further down it says:
#### Yay does not display colored output. How do I fix it?
  Make sure you have the `Color` option in your `/etc/pacman.conf`
  (see issue [#123](https://github.com/Jguer/yay/issues/123)).
No idea if / how it works yet though!  ;D

Yes, and trizen works with Octopi too. It fits nicely in my Plasma scheme. ;)
